So, it's time for one the most obvious and basic questions of any TV show fandom.
Which episode is your favorite?
For this one you can choose up to three favorites from the 9 all the way up to our resident grouch, 12, but be sure give a good reason/description of what makes this episode your favorite. Gifs and other media are all free game for explanation or any other reason.
Since I posed the question, it would only make sense that I go first. Buuut... where's the fun in making sense all the time?
So tell me. Which are your favorites and why is everyone else wrong for thinking otherwise?

What makes my two and three...? Probably "Silence in the Library" and "Forest of the Dead" as three, as it's the first to feature River Song, and the Vashta Narada are just really cool creatures. It makes three because outside of those two points, it's nothing special.
For number two, definitely "The Day of the Doctor", the fiftieth anniversary special. What do I say that isn't just fangirling? Uh... I didn't hate Clara in the episode. Fantastic. Let's move on, shall we?
Honorable mention goes to "The Husbands of River Song" for the sake of it being Capaldi's only episode without Clara.
Looking over the list of episode, there are some I just don't remember, and the rest don't stick out that much. Anyone have recommendations of episodes I should re-watch?
My favorite goes to an episode I've mentioned before (twice, I think), and a general favorite among the fandom: Blink. Because wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff, among other things.
I was paranoid for nearly two weeks after watching it for the first time. I had to stay up all night because I didn't want to sleep in the dark (I think I was still in high school at the time, so that was not good). I was constantly looking over my shoulder for anything following me. It wasn't fun. This is why I don't watch horror movies.
While not on my favorites list (though it is my favorite of 12), Listen did something similar, except I'm only paranoid in my room at night. Even just thinking about it makes me cringe. And with that, I need to turn my light on. Thanks.

Jesus, when I first saw this episode I had nightmares Yeah me too, but I still loved it, my favorite creature in the doctor who universe. Hence why that's what I chose for Adventures of Thunder and Knight.

This was actually the first Doctor Who episode I saw in my life. My stepbrother showed it to me because he knew I would get hooked to it and I did. Funny thing is that the Doctor doesn't actually do much in that episode.

I think that's what makes it such a good episode to show prospective Whovians. They don't need to know too much about the Doctor or the world that they're in to enjoy it.
Blink is definitely one of my favorites alongside Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead because of the chemistry between the Doctor and River and Donna and how the Doctor had to deal with the death of someone who knew and loved him so very much while he had no idea who she was.
I'd say another favorite would be Heaven Sent. It was our first real glimpse at how Capaldi's Doctor could be and who he is. To think he'd spend billions of years dying over and over just for one person... bravo. And that line he gave towards the end
"How long can I keep doing this? Burning the old me to make a new one." felt so powerful.
It relates to the whole character of The Doctor as a whole. No matter how much The Doctor seems to trivialize regeneration it's essentially him dying, burning up his old self and forming a new one. He is dying over and over again and I think this was a great way to call attention back to it.

My favorite episodes are when we see how important the doctor is, like when Clara entered his time stream because the stars were going out and all, so epic.
